King of Kings
About US
King of Kings is community of believers – a family! – who love Jesus, one another, and others. We have been part of our neighborhood since 1973 with a heart for the Gospel. Our desire is to honor Jesus by fulfilling His words to love God with all that we are and have, and to love our neighbors as ourselves by speaking and living lives filled with grace and truth. We would love to have you join us, and if we can be of service to you don’t hesitate to ask!
Our Pastor
Gregg has a deep love for Jesus and His Church. While it was never on Gregg’s radar to go into the ministry, God had other plans for him. After his sophomore year at the University of Arizona and studying Criminal Justice, Gregg was led by the Holy Spirit to transfer to Concordia University Irvine where he graduated with a degree in Youth Ministry. He went on to fulfill his internship at Concordia Lutheran Church in Lakewood, CO, where he met the love of his life, Angie.
The first church that Gregg served at was Zion Lutheran Church in Fallbrook, CA. From there he went onto serve at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Plano, TX, before being called back to Colorado to serve one again at Concordia in Lakewood. After completing his studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Gregg was ordained and served as pastor at Concordia, Lakewood, before being called to serve as pastor at King of Kings.
Now as he begins his time at King of Kings, Gregg is looking forward to the journey ahead and is excited to serve God with the family at King of Kings and the Kingdom work set before them.

Gregg loves spending time with his grown children and their families, hiking and exercising, all sorts of movies and books, and a good rugby match.
Our Beliefs
King of Kings Lutheran Church Believes, Teaches, and Confesses:
-
That the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments in their entirety, are the true, inspired and authoritative Word of God.
-
That God is a Triune God; one God who exists in three persons:
-
The Father who is the creator of the universe and maker of everything in heaven and on earth
-
The Son, Jesus, fully God and fully man, is God's perfect Son, who through His virgin birth lived a sinless life on earth. He willingly paid for our sins by dying on the cross for us. His death gained salvation for all who receive it as a gift by trusting in Him alone. He rose victorious from the dead and is the sole mediator between God and us. He will return to earth to conclude all things and reign forever.
-
The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ, creates faith in our hearts through the Word and sacraments (Communion and Baptism), and equips believers to grow in faith and in service to God and others.
-
-
That humans are born sinful and in need of God's forgiveness, love, and grace.
-
That our sins are forgiven through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
-
That God's Word, Baptism, and Communion are ways that God brings his forgiveness and grace into our lives.
-
That eternal life is a free gift from God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
-
That Jesus Christ will one day return as victorious Lord of all.
